Cops bid farewell to former CP Srinivasulu
GODAVARIKHANI, MARCH 10, 2025: Amber Kishore Jha, a 2009-batch IPS officer, took charge as the new Ramagundam Commissioner of Police in the Godavarikhani coal belt of the Peddapalli district on Monday.
Mr Jha took charge from the outgoing Commissioner of Police M Srinivasulu in the presence of Mancherial DCP A Bhaskar, Peddapalli DCP Karnakar and other police officials. A 2009 batch IPS officer, has first assumed charge as ASP of integrated Adilabad district in 2011. Later, as OSD and Additional SP of Warangal district in the year 2012 and as SP of Warangal district. He worked as Badradri Kothagudam district SP in 2014 and Hyderabad South Zone DCP in the year 2018 and later went to central services and, after promotion as DI,G joined as Rachakonda Joint Commissioner and later as Warangal Commissioner of Police before being posted to Ramagundam as CP.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Jha said that they would accord priority to the friendly policing and deal with an iron hand with the criminals and law-breakers. He said that they would take stern action against the land mafia, drugs, ganja and other illegal activities in the Commissionerate limits of the Peddapalli and Mancherial districts. He said that he would be available for the service of common man 24×7 along with other senior police officials in the Commissionerate limits.
On the other hand, the police officials’ Commissionerate limits warm farewell to their outgoing boss. The cops bestowed honour upon M Srinivasulu in their special way. They decorated his vehicle with flowers and pulled the vehicle with ropes wrapped around with flowers. Mr Srinivasulu shared some past stories out of his experience while serving the Commissionerate limits during the last 13 months.
