KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 04, 2026: B Odelu Kumar, a Physical Science teacher at Zilla Parishad High School, Indurthi, in Karimnagar district, and state resource person, has been selected for the Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan National Level Best Teacher Award by the NV Foundation for his distinguished services in the field of Education in the integrated Andhra Pradesh state.
The award was announced on the occasion of Teachers’ Day on the eve of the birth anniversary of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, which would be held on September 5. The award would be presented at a function in Nellore district on September 6, 2026. The NV Foundation chairman Leela Krishna Mohan said senior IAS officer Lakshmi Kantham, Mangalagiri Education Officer Sri Babu, DIET principal P Ramesh and others would grace the function.
ZPHS Indurthi school principal and MEO P Jayaprada and village sarpanch Narender, upa-sarpanch Anil Kumar, village elders and teaching staff congratulated Mr Odelu Kumar on being selected for the national award.
