Participates in various programmes including Telangana food festival
KARIMNAGAR, NOVEMBER 23, 2024: As part of ongoing 150th birth anniversary of freedom fighter Bhagwan Birsa Munda, which is celebrated every year as ‘Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas’, the Zilla Parishad High School, Indurthi in Chigurumamidi mandal of Karimnagar district had been conducting various programmes from November 15 to 26, 2024.
Accordingly, on Saturday (November 23, 2024), the students participated in the food festival of Telangana state. They had prepared various dishes of the Telangana state including sarvapindi, bakshalu, appalu, pulihora, gudali, jowar roti, ghatka, and various curries at their homes with the support of their parents and displayed at the food festival.
Similarly, the students participated in cultural programmes depicting the life history of freedom fighter Birsa Munda and how fought against the Britishers. Headmistress Jayaprada, teachers Tirpati, Manjula Prathap Reddy, Venu, SVR Chary, Odelu Kumar, Madhavi, Pawan Kumar, Raghupathi Reddy, Savitha, Sridevi, Suryaprakash, Muninder, Niharka, students and the villagers also attended the celebrations.
