RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, DECEMBER 02, 2024: The Telangana Government Social Welfare Residential Degree College for Women (TGSWRDCW), Rajanna Sircilla marked World Computer Literacy Day with a grand celebration, emphasizing the importance of technology in modern life. A one-day technical fest was organized, featuring engaging and innovative events such as PowerPoint presentations, poster presentations, hackathons, technical quizzes, and a digital expo.
The event highlighted emerging technologies, including the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cybersecurity, Data Science, and Machine Learning, and their transformative role in daily life and various industries.
The celebration was graced by the presence of the college’s principal, Dr. P.S.R. Sharma, vice principal Dr. B. Sumalatha, staff incharge G. Rajini, and Head of the Computer Science Department Mrs. A. Anusha, along with faculty members G. Madhavi and M. Krishnaveni. Their insights and encouragement inspired students to embrace technology and develop technical skills to thrive in the digital era.
Students actively participated in the events, showcasing their knowledge, creativity, and problem-solving skills. The hackathon and digital expo drew particular attention, providing a platform for students to display innovative solutions and explore real-world applications of advanced technologies.
The program concluded with inspiring speeches by the faculty and a vote of thanks to the organizing team for their dedication to promoting computer literacy and technical excellence. Both students and faculty applauded the initiative, which emphasized the importance of bridging the gap between theoretical learning and practical application in the ever-evolving field of technology.
