KARIMNAGAR, NOVEMBER 28, 2024: As part of Karthika Masam celebrations, which is a tradition of Vanabhojanam, the community lunch and day-long picnic, IQAC cell of the SRR Government Arts and Science College, Karimnagar, as part of its HR policy, organised vanabhojanam on the college campus under the Indian Gooseberry (Usri) tree on Thursday.
As part of the festivities, the women faculty members bought several dishes prepared at their homes for the community lunch on the college campus. The faculty members had a sumptuous feast and enjoyed the day. They also released lamps in the pond on the campus where the stature of Lord Shiva and Parvathi are installed.
On this occasion, the faculty members enlightened about the importance of Karthika masam and Vanabhojanam by enjoying nature’s beauty. Vice Principals P Nithin and Rajaiah graced the occasion. IQAC coordinator Harjoth Kaur, Jyotilaxmi, K Kiranmayi, T swaroops Rani, Praveena, Archana, Elizabeth Rani, Rajshri, Shirisha, Narmada, Katha, Mrudula, Swaroopa, Amulya, Jayanti, Samatha, Umarani, AO, Vidya, Shirisha, and other lady faculty were present.
