PEDDAPALLI, NOVEMBER 28, 2024: Peddapalli District Collector Koya Sree Harsha has congratulated Dusi Koundinya, a Physics teacher from Vani High School, Ramagiri mandal in the district, on his selection to the India International Science Festival (IISF) 2024, which will be held at IIT Guwahati on November 30 to December 3, 2024.
Dusi Koundinya will deliver a lecture on “Science around Us’ under the theme of “Science through games and toys as part of the 10th IISF in Guwahati. Incidentally, he is the only teacher from South India to participate and deliver a lecture at the IISF and it is a proud moment that he hails from Peddapalli district. District Science Officer B Ravinandhan Rao was also present.
The Ministry of Science and Technology through their departments viz Department of Science and Technology, Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Department of Biotechnology and Ministry of Earth Sciences are part of conducting this mega annual science event.
