KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 22, 2026: Vivekananda Residential School (CBSE) in Karimnagar town organised an insightful session on “Mental Health & Examination Stress Management” for the students of Class X, focusing on helping them approach examinations with confidence, positivity and a balanced mindset on Saturday (August 22, 2026).
The session was conducted by Dr. Ramya K, M.D. (Paediatrics), Professor & HOD, Department of Paediatrics, Chalmeda Anand Rao Institute of Medical Sciences (CAIMS), Karimnagar, and a notable life coach.
The programme was graced by correspondent Rotarian Harihara Prasad and Advisory Committee Member Laxman Rao, whose presence encouraged and supported the students. Principal R. Retheesh was also present on the occasion.

Dr. Ramya addressed the common emotional challenges students experience during examinations, including stress, excitement, fear of failure and academic pressure. She encouraged students to maintain a positive outlook and reminded them that examinations should be viewed as opportunities to learn and grow rather than as sources of fear.
She emphasised the importance of positive thinking and affirmations in building confidence and developing a healthy mindset. She also encouraged students not to keep their worries to themselves, but to openly discuss their concerns with parents, teachers and friends and seek guidance whenever needed.
The interactive session was followed by a doubt-clearing and clarification session, during which students actively participated and sought guidance on various concerns related to examination stress and emotional well-being.
The students responded enthusiastically to the session and expressed that the interaction had helped them understand how to manage pressure more positively and approach their examinations with greater confidence and calmness.
