Valmiki School alumni announces complete support to TRSMA State Chief Advisor in MLC elections

KARIMNAGAR, NOVEMBER 03, 2024: Alumni belonging to 2012-13 batch of Valmiki High School in Karimnagar town have announced their complete support to TRSMA State Chief Secretary and contestant from Karimnagar Graduates Constituency for the ensuing MLC elections Yadagiri Shekhar Rao.

The alumni had convened a get-together meeting in Manakondur mandal on Sunday. On this occasion, the Alumni assured to strive for the maximum enrolment of voters and ensure that each alumnus would ensure that they would make at least 50 voters vote in favour of Shekhar Rao.

Speaking at the Teachers’ meeting and awareness programme on enrolment as voters in Manakondur mandal, Mr Shekhar Rao said that he had decided to contest MLC elections only to raise the voice of the Graduates in the Legislative Council. Reminding that he was instrumental in ensuring 25 kgs of rice and Rs 2,000 per month as compensation to the private school teachers during the outbreak of COVID-19 and lockdown, he said that he would strive for health and life insurance for the private school teachers.

He reiterated that he had joined the politics not to protect his properties, but to serve the society and Graduates in general and private school teachers in particular. He appealed to the voters to exercise their franchise by enrolling before November 6. TRSMA district vice president Pachunuru Surender, treasurer Rangu Srinivas, state vice president Lakshma Reddy, town president R Naresh, Srikanth, Mandal president Adepu Ravinder, Shyam Sundar, Mini Vijaya, Parushuram, Srinivas, Hakeem and others were also present.

 

Mr Shekhar Rao also participated in the inauguration of Telangana Teachers Premier League cricket competitions in Karimnagar town.
