

HANAMKONDA, APRIL 29, 2025: On the occasion of Sri Sama Jagan Mohan’s death anniversary, the Sama Jagan Mohan Trust, in association with ABVP, organised a Mega Medical Camp at Rajaji Nagar, behind Scholar School, Ramnagar, Hanamkonda, on Tuesday.

The camp saw active participation from Postgraduate Nutrition and Dietetics students of Vaagdevi College, who provided personalised meal plans and dietary counselling to over 200 outpatients (OP) until 12:30 PM. This initiative served as a valuable live training opportunity, offering students hands-on experience in community nutrition care.
Esteemed doctors from various hospitals, including Srinivasa Hospital, Lakshmi Narasimha Hospital, Manjula Hospital, and others, offered free medical consultations and services to the beneficiaries.
The students extended their heartfelt gratitude to Vaagdevi College Management Founder Ch. Devender Reddy, Director, Vahini Madam, Principal A. Seshachalam Sir, Vice Principal P Harinder Reddy, and IQAC Coordinator, Raja Prasad for granting permission and encouraging them to take part in this meaningful outreach program. The initiative was highly appreciated as part of the institution’s commitment to social responsibility and experiential learning.
Faculty from the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics also actively participated, ensuring the programme’s smooth execution and academic relevance.
