KARIMNAGAR, APRIL 10, 2025: Condemning the arrest of the contract lecturers of various universities as part of its ‘Chalo Higher Education Council’ on Wednesday, the contract lecturers of all 12 universities in the Telangana state have boycotted the classes and staged protests on Thursday.
Accordingly, the contract lecturers have staged protests in Satavahana University in the integrated Karimnagar district. The protestors demanded that the government should regularize their services and provide job security.
They also condemned the illegal arrests and house arrests of contract lecturers who gathered in large numbers from various districts and universities across the state. Satavahana University contract teachers association convenor Joseph Raj, co-ordinators Raju, Krishna Kumar, Vijay Prakash, Anil, Archana and others participated.
