Union Minister Bandi Sanjay celebrates Friendship day with his school friends of Karimnagar

KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 04, 2024: It was a pleasant surprise to Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar as his classmates belonging to the SSC batch of Saraswathi Sishu mandir in Karimnagar town met in Hyderabad and exchanged greetings as part of the International Friendship day celebrations on Sunday.

Following the news that the Union Minister was touring Hyderabad, his childhood friends numbering around 35 gave a pleasant surprise by meeting in at Mansoorabad at LB Nagar in Hyderabad. The friends bought a special cake and made him cut the cake and share it with the friends.

It was surprising to note that the Union Minister remembered the names of every friend and recollected his school days and how they were thrashed by the teachers for copying. He also recollected the teasing of his friends and nutty-witty things done by some of his friends in the school.

His classmates Pulluri Ramesh, Srinivasa Rao, Bandi Srinivas, Singam Meena Kumari, Butti Manjula, K Latha, P Sridevi, M Shoba Rani, Chennadi Praveen Rao, Tanugula Sridhar, Thota Prakash, Narla Mahender, Pulluri Sri Ranga Rao, Vaidya Sanjay, Veldandi Venu Madhav, Tatipalli Srinivas, Mukka Sridhar, Bhuvanagiri Sridhar, Chitumalla Srinivas, Gasiganti Mohan, Kamarapur Narender, Madishetty Sanjay, Cherukuthota Srinatha Rao, Repala Srinivas, Sriramuju Yogindranath, Kadarla Venumadhav and others met the Union Minister and exchanged pleasantries.

Despite his hectic schedule, the Union Minister spent around two hours with his friends, sharing jokes and school activities. Before leaving the venue, the Minister informed his friends they would meet again and this time they would conduct a special event to recollect the memorable days spent in the school.
