KARIMNAGAR, MARCH 22, 2025: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar has alleged that the Southern States’ Joint Action Council Delimitation Conference in Chennai was a meeting of ‘Gangs of Thieves’.

He said: “A meeting of a gang of thieves is taking place in Chennai. The DMK government which is involved in a ₹1,000 crore liquor scam and deeply entangled in multiple corruption scandals has taken up delimitation issue to divert the public attention”. He said that the people of Tamil Nadu state had decided to defeat DML in the upcoming elections.
The Union Minister was talking to newsmen in Karimnagar town on Saturday after participating in various programmes of inspecting the crop damages following the unseasonal rains in Nagurnuru village and a three-day medical camp in Chamanpalli village by Mediciti hospital etc.
Responding to newsmen’s queries, the Union Minister reiterated that the Congress and BRS are the same. He charged that Congress is attempting to shield KCR’s family from corruption charges. He alleged that the BRS made a secret deal with the Congress by not raising the six guarantees promised by the Congress government in the elections. He exuded with confidence that the BJP would bloom in South India in all elections.
To a query, Mr Bandi Sanjay said that he was not in the race for the BJP Telangana state president post as being reported in the social media. He said that the BJP high command had entrusted him the job of Union Minister of state for Home Affairs. Stating that the BJP party rank and file would discharge the instructions of the party high command, he clarified that the BJP had emerged as a strong force in the Telangana state. He ridiculed the BRS state president and former CM K Chandrashekhar Rao’s claim to emerge in the national politics as the party could not even field its candidate in the elections.
