Shekhar Rao announced to contest ensuing MLC elections from Karimnagar Graduates Constituency
ADILABAD, OCTOBER 19, 2024: Telangana Recognised Schools Management Association (TRSMA) state Chief Advisor Yadagiri Shekhar Rao has intensified the voter enrolment drive for the next year’s election for the Karimnagar-Adilabad, Nizamabad-Medak Graduates Constituency in the State Legislative Council by visiting the erstwhile Adilabad district on Saturday.
Accordingly, Mr Shekhar Rao visited the Khagaznagar, Penchikappet, Kautala, Sirpur, Bejjur and other mandals in the Asifabad district and distributed enrolment forms to the Graduates including teachers of various educational institutions and others.
On this occasion, Mr Rao visited Sirpur paper bills and its vicinity and interacted with the residents and graduates, who poured out woes of pollution from the paper bills. They said that though the industry is not running now, people are suffering a lot due to the pollution caused by the industry during its peak period. The residents found fault with the management for not even allowing them to walk on the premises when the industry was not in operation. He promised the issues to the notice of the government and resolve them at the earliest.
Later, he visited various schools and colleges including the government residential and model schools interacted with the faculty members and enlightened them about the enrolment as voters and distributed application forms. Promising retirement benefits to the employees and teachers at the earliest, he said that he would strive for the release of pending fee reimbursement to private educational institutions.
He also promised to ensure Rs 10 lakhs of health insurance to all the private employees. He also assured to take measures for the release of job calendar for taking recruitment of vacant posts immediately. TRSMA state associate president Peddapalli Kishan Rao, Asifabad district president Deva Bhushanam and general secretary Tirupati and treasurer Rajendra Prasad, working president Sanjeeva Rao and others were also present.
