JAGTIAL, JUNE 18, 2026: A specialised training programme titled “Community Engagement – Teaching Internship Programme on AI & Digital Learning” (Anna-Akka Mentorship Programme) was successfully organised at the Government Degree College for Women (Autonomous), Jagtial, on Thursday.
The event was presided over by the College Principal, Prof. Ramakrishna, and supervised by Vice Principal G. Chandraiah. Master Trainer from Government Polytechnic, Korutla, S Sandeep attended as the chief resource person. He provided hands-on training to the students on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and modern digital learning tools, demonstrating how these technologies can be effectively utilised in teaching and community development.
On this occasion, the Principal said: “In this digital era, mastering technology is essential for women students. Through this AI training, our students will gain advanced skills that will help them bridge the gap between academic learning and societal growth”.

Key Highlights of the Programme:
Student Participation:* Around *41 students* actively participated in this mentorship programme and received valuable training in digital teaching methodologies.
Coordination:* The programme was seamlessly coordinated by the College-Level Nodal Officers: N. Vasavi, Mr. K. Ramchander, and Mr. S. Mallikarjun.
Faculty Presence:* Senior faculty members including T. Pramod, Vara Prasad, Mrs. G. Srilatha, N. Neeraja, and Mrs. N. Sangeetha Rani along with other staff members attended the session to encourage the students.
The participating students expressed their gratitude to the college administration and organizers for conducting a session that equips them with future-ready skills.
