RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, JUNE 18, 2026: O. Jyothi, an alumna of Telangana Social Welfare Residential Women’s Degree College (TGSWRDC), Vemulawada, visited her college and inspired students by sharing her remarkable journey from a humble background to securing admission to a prestigious Central University.
Jyothi completed her degree at TGSWRDC during the academic years 2022–2025. Hailing from a family of daily wage labourers, she overcame several challenges through hard work, dedication, and perseverance. Her efforts have earned her admission to the M.A. History and Archaeology programme at the Central University of Karnataka.
Interacting with the students, Jyothi spoke about the importance of setting clear goals, staying focused, and making the best use of the opportunities provided by the Gurukul system. She encouraged students to believe in their abilities, work consistently towards their dreams, and never allow circumstances to limit their aspirations.

Her interaction left a lasting impression on the students, who found her story both motivating and relatable. Faculty members observed that Jyothi’s achievement serves as a powerful example of how determination and quality education can transform lives and open doors to higher academic opportunities.
