Tiny Tots of Sister Nivedita School celebrate Teachers’ Day

HYDERABAD, SEPTEMBER 05, 2024: Tiny tots of Sister Nivedita School, Ameerpet, Hyderabad, celebrated Teachers Day with lots of enthusiasm to commemorate the birth anniversary of the second President of the country Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan on Thursday.

The students paid rich tributes to Dr Radhakrishnan by offering floral tributes to his portrait. The event was a heartfelt tribute to the dedicated teachers who have been instrumental in shaping the minds of future generations.  The students presented several programmes to express respect towards teachers through several activities under the theme ‘My Mentor, My Guide’ to reflect their guidance, support and significant role in shaping the life of youth. ‘Thank you’ cards were given to the teachers along which brought ‘tears of joy’ to teachers.

The programme began with a melodious welcome song by the students, followed by an informative speech. The teachers were greeted with smiles and roses on the occasion. The students paid their respects to the teachers with various cultural programs, the young Niveditans enacted the roles of prominent educators of India and spoke about their contributions. The programme mesmerised the gathering with melodious songs and dances performed by the enthusiastic students. They also donned the roles of several educators of the country.

Chairman of the institution, Dr Sudhakar Rao Polasani, Correspondent of the institution, Rotarian Hari Hara Prasad and Principal Dr T. Lalitha Kumari applauded the performers and appreciated the tireless efforts of the teachers in making the school a hub of learning and growth. The celebration was a heartwarming tribute to the selfless service of teachers and a testament to the strong bond between students and teachers.
