

PEDDAPALLI, APRIL 08, 2025: Three students from various government schools of Peddapalli district have been selected for the prestigious young scientist programme of Yuvika-2025 organised by Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).

Students Polaveni Sathvika, Padala SiriVennela, both from ZPHS Raghanedu, Peddapalli Mandal, under the guidance of K Jagadeeshwar Reddy and Thodeti Sai Varsitha of ZPHS Kannala of Palakurthy Mandal under the supervision if Physical Science Teacher B. Ravinandan Rao, were selected for Yuvika-2025 (In the first list released by ISRO authorities with 350 people).
Among the thousands of students studying in class 9 from all management schools in 28 states and 8 Union Territories across the country registered online till March 23, a record number of 12 students were selected from Telangana state including three students from the erstwhile district of Karimnagar i.e from Peddapalli district.
Last year, Rangu Keerthana from Raghanedu High School was selected and made the district proud, but this time two students from the same class from the same school were selected and created a record at the National Level. DEO D Madhavi said that these three students will participate in a two-week residential training programme on space technology and applications at one of the 7 research centers of ISRO in the next Month.
There is joy among the teaching community that three students from the district have been selected for this training. The selected students and guide teachers were congratulated by DEO D Madhavi, D.S.O, Samagra Shiksha Co-ordinators P.M. Shaik, CH Mallesh Goud, G. Kavitha, Dabeer Azimoddin, Mandal Educational Officers T. Surendra Kumar, T Vimala, Headmasters CH Agaiah and J Kamalakar Rao in separate statements on Tuesday.
