KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 15, 2024: The 78th Independence Day was celebrated with patriotic programmes by the students of The Play School in Karimnagar town on Thursday.
Majority of the students of the school arrived by donning the roles of freedom fighters including Netaji Subash Chandra Bose, Mahatma Gandhi, Pandit Nehru and others. The school campus and the students were painted in the colours of patriotism on the occasion.
Besides, the students celebrated the day by singing patriotic songs and holding the Tricolour in their hands. Students of all classes presented different art forms. A dance was presented by the tiny tots to remind everyone of the sacrifices made by freedom fighters.
Principal Prabha Devi congratulated all the students and teachers on the occasion and saluted those who sacrificed their lives for the country’s freedom. She appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers, who organised the function in a colourful manner.
