KARIMNAGAR, NOVEMBER 28, 2024: Vivekananda Residential School (CBSE), Karimnagar, gathered in gratitude to celebrate Thanksgiving Day with a special assembly on Thursday. The purpose of the assembly was to foster a sense of appreciation, unity, and reflection on the things we are thankful for in our lives.
Several students took the stage to share their thoughts on gratitude and what Thanksgiving means to them. They thanked their parents, teachers, friends, and many others. A special programme with an especially composed song and dance was arranged for the helping staff. This surprise gesture left the hearts in tears of emotion. The teaching faculty and the children thanked them for the selfless services rendered by them day in and day out.
Beautifully made cards by the children of classes I and II were given as a thanksgiving to each member as a gesture of appreciation. Chairman Dr. Sudhakar Rao Polsani and the Director (Academics), Dr. T. Lalitha Kumari conveyed their gratitude and appreciation. Principal Renuka Balivada in her message said: “In a world that often moves quickly, let us take this opportunity to pause, appreciate one another, and express our thanks. May this spirit of gratitude continue to guide us in creating a nurturing and inclusive environment. Wishing you all a joyous Thanksgiving.”
