KARIMNAGAR, APRIL 11, 2025: Telangana Social Welfare Residential Degree College for Women, Nagunur, Karimnagar town, have excelled in the various sports and games competitions conducted by the Satavahana University and in the South Zone University competitions in Alagappa university recently.
The students viz Nikita, Sindhu, Sushma, Ashrita, Chandni, Sirisha, Abhinaya, Snehita, Ashrita, Amulya, Akshita participated in the Koho-kho competition and secured the second prize. In the South Zone competition, A. Iskhra, P. Sushmita participated in the Kabaddi competition organized by Alagappa University, Tamil Nadu. S. Kavyasri participated in the Volleyball tournament organized by Jeppiar University, Chennai.
Chandni, S. Shivani, K. Nandini participated in the Chess tournament organized by Geetham University. J. Akshara participated in the Karimnagar Athlete Association State level selections in Hyderabad. K. Sriharshini, K. Navadhita, G. Tejaswi, A. Rachana, G. Pushpalatha, A. Iskhra, S Kavyasri, K. Anjali, B. Rajamani, B. Nikita, M. Nithya, P. Srija, A. Rajamani participated in the Karimnagar Association Handball State meet in Rangareddy, said the college’s physical director Dr. Parveena Begum. The college principal Dr. T. Malathi, vice principal Dr. G Samatha, physical director Dr. Parveena Begum and the faculty congratulated the students for their outstanding performances in the sports along with academics.
