KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 02, 2026: Commuters on a TGSRTC bus had a miraculous escape when the bus they were travelling in crashed into the wall of an open agricultural well on the outskirts of Sundaragiri village in Chigurumamidi mandal on Wednesday.
The incident occurred while the bus was travelling from Husnabad to Karimnagar. The driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle after the steering link rod failed, and the bus stopped after hitting the wall of the open agricultural well. A few passengers sustained minor injuries, and no major casualties were reported. The bus was seen dangling in the air over the well.
The timely action by the driver had avoided a major mishap and ensured the safety of the commuters of the bus. The incident took place in the Husnabad assembly segment represented by Minister for Transport Ponnam Prabhakar.
