
KARIMNAGAR, MAY 21, 2026: Telangana Gazetted Headmasters Association (TGHMA) Karimnagar chapter office-bearers were elected unopposed at a meeting held at a private engineering college town under the guidance of TGHMA state president P Raja Bhanu Chandraprakash on Thursday.
The TGHMA Karimnagar new office-bearers elected for the academic year 2026-27 include: District president V Laxman Rao (ZPHS, Bommanapalli), general secretary M Madhunachary (ZPHS Vegurupalli), Associate presidents include M Chandrakala, Cheeti Laxma Rao, E Karuna, T Anandam, GPV Ranganatha Sharma, Headquarters secretary E Anjaneyulu, Joint secretaries Hemalatha, and Ravinder, organising secretaries Md Arshad, R Rajaiah, S Damodar and state councillors include: Jayaprada, Krishna Gopal, Anitha Rani and Ramaiah.


TGHMA state president Raja Bhanu demanded that the government should abolish the existing integrated Andhra Pradesh state’s old service rules and introduce special Education Service Rules for Telangana state. Demanding promotions and transfers of headmasters, he also urged the government to fill up vacant posts in SCERT, DIET, CTE and other institutions.
The newly elected TGHMA office-bearers have certain resolutions, including;
They demanded the upgradation of MEO post as Mandal level education officer and provide more than headmaster status.
They sought the creation of education divisions on par with revenue divisions with the four to five mandals and appointment of special officers through 100 per cent promotions.
They should suggest the change of the GHM post as Principal as per the changing scenario.
