Students of ZPHS Indurthi celebrate National Science Day with ‘low cost and no-cost’ experiments

KARIMNAGAR, FEBRUARY 29, 2024: Students of Zilla Parishad High School, Indurthi in Karimnagar district, celebrated the National Science Day by doing experiments with low cost and no cost material on Wednesday.

Science teachers Tirupati, Odelu Kumar and Madhavi helped the students design low cost and no cost science experiments by using locally available material. They have conducted experiments such as Newton’s first, second, and third laws of motion, the arrangement of molecules in solid, liquid, and gaseous states, and how they expand when heated, as well as travel in the form of sound waves, elasticity, electromagnetism, as well as the story of electrical conduction in liquids, how the heart and lungs work.

In the afternoon session, the teachers conducted a science quiz for the students. The villagers and parents visited the science exhibition and appreciated the students for their creativity. School education committee chairperson Afreen, incharge principal Tirupati and other teachers Manjula, Ramalinga Chary, Odelu Kumar, Madhavi, Raghupathi Reddy, Pawan Kumar, Arif Hussain, Saritha, Ramadevi, Niharika and others were also present.
