

KARIMNAGAR, OCTOBER 18, 2024: Students of Vivekananda Residential School (CBSE), Karimnagar, have once again showcased their talent on a national platform, with stellar performances at the recently concluded CBSE National Judo Competition 2024 held in Jharkhand.

Among the participants, M. Teja Varshini made the school proud by securing a gold medal in the Under-19 -23 kg category. She won 3 out of 4 matches and was awarded the best player. The national event witnessed fierce competition from athletes across the country, but her remarkable skills, discipline, and determination set her apart. It is a testament to her relentless practice and commitment, as well as the support and guidance provided by the coaches at VRS.
S Amruthavarshini, M. Venkata Ritika and M. Sudiksha were also selected to the national event. Their participation in the event, gave them invaluable experience and exposure at the national level. The school Chairman Dr. Sudhakar Rao Polasani and Dr. Lalitha Kumari, Director (Academics) congratulated the entire team for their hard work and dedication, applauding them for bringing laurels to the school.
Renuka Balivada, Principal, in her message, expressed immense pride in the students’ achievements. She also reaffirmed the school’s commitment to nurturing talent across academics and sports, ensuring holistic development.
