HYDERABAD, DECEMBER 24, 2024: Students of Sister Nivedita School, Ameerpet, Hyderabad, celebrated Christmas with great vitality and enthusiasm to spread the magic of love, joy and cheer on Tuesday.
Students arrayed in red and white (Santa’s favourite colours) and clicked images by performing arts and crafts activities of the Christmas tree. The school campus was transformed into a winter wonderland as the Principal, teachers and students gathered to enjoy the Christmas celebration. The event, organized by the teachers and the students, mesmerized the spectators as the children showcased their talents in music, dance, skit etc.
The celebration began with a special Christmas prayer followed by the school’s choir singing and playing popular holiday tunes, including “Jingle Bells”. The audience was also treated to a special appearance by Santa Claus, who handed out gifts and spread holiday cheer.
Following the music, the students participated in a series of fun activities which included a Christmas-themed drama that left everyone spellbound. The Christmas celebration was not only a fun event but also an opportunity for students to give back to the community.
The middle school Christmas celebration was a heartwarming and festive event that brought together the school community and spread joy and cheer to all who attended. The celebration aimed to embrace the true spirit of this season — a time of love, kindness, and giving. Children were encouraged to strive to nurture these values and to grow as responsible, empathetic individuals who can bring about positive change in the world.
The programme concluded with the message of the Principal Dr T. Lalitha Kumari, who said that Christmas is not just about festivities and decorations, it is a celebration of hope, peace, and goodwill. It reminds us of the importance of compassion, sharing, and being a light in someone else’s life. School Chairman Dr Sudhakar Rao Polsani, and Correspondent M Hari Hara Prasad conveyed their wishes to the students.
