HYDERABAD, JUNE 27, 2025: With the start of the new academic year, it is time for the students to elect their House (student council) leaders.
Accordingly, the spirit of democracy came alive at Sister Nivedita School, Ameerpet, Hyderabad, as the much-awaited Student Council Elections were conducted with enthusiasm and discipline on Friday. The elections were held for the posts of Deputy Head Boy, Deputy Head Girl, Sports Captain, House Captains, and Vice-Captains, allowing students to step into leadership roles and embrace responsibility.

The electoral process began with great dignity as Dr. T. Lalitha Kumari, the dynamic Principal, was the first to cast her vote, followed by the teaching staff, inspiring students with their active participation. The entire school community engaged enthusiastically in the voting process, making it a truly democratic celebration.
Special appreciation goes to Chairman Dr Polasani Sudhakar and Correspondent Hariharaprasad, whose constant support and visionary leadership continue to guide the school in nurturing responsible future citizens.
The campaign phase saw students presenting their ideas confidently, and voting was conducted in a well-organised manner, supervised diligently by staff and student volunteers. The atmosphere was charged with excitement, healthy competition, and school spirit.
These elections serve as a stepping stone for instilling values of leadership, accountability, and democratic participation. Congratulations to all the elected leaders—may your term be one of dedication, integrity, and service!
