
KARIMNAGAR, JUNE 27, 2025: The Karimnagar Commissionerate of Police have arrested six bike lifters and recovered 33 bikes worth Rs 12.27 lakh in various parts of the district.
Disclosing this to newsmen here on Friday, Commissioner of Police Gaush Alam said that the Karimnagar Two Town police, along with CCS police, during their regular vehicle-checking at Padmnagar in the town, have arrested six persons, who were triple-riding on two bikes under suspicious circumstances. During the interrogation, the accused confessed to stealing 33 bikes in various parts of the district.

The accused include: Panthulu Naveen (24), a native of Venkicharla of Mahabubnagar district, Penta Balu (24), Chokkaraopalli village of Ganneruvaram mandal in Karimnagar district, Peddi Nagaraju (29), a native of Malyala village of Chandurthi mandal in Sircilla district, Chindham Sai Prasad (24), a native of Kesanapalli village of Manthani Mutharam mandal, Thota Madhu (28), a native of Lingampalli village of Gangadhara mandal in Karimnagar and Kumbhala Suresh (25) from Illanthakunta mandal of Sircilla district.
The six vehicle lifting cases were registered in Karimnagar One town police, eight cases in Karimnagar two town police station, one case in Karimnagar three town police station, two cases in Karimnagar Rural police station, three cases in Kothapalli police station, two cases in Vemulawada of Rajanna-Sircilla district and others
Karimnagar Town ACP Venkat Swamy, Two town inspector Srujan Reddy, CCS Inspector Srinivas, Karimnagar One town inspector Koteshwar, Three town inspector John Reddy and others were also present.
