PEDDAPALLI, JUNE 21, 2024: Students of Pallavi Model School in Rangampalli on the outskirts of Peddapalli town celebrated the International Day of Yoga with lots of enthusiasm and festive spirit along with their mothers on their school campus on Friday.
Along with their mothers, who demonstrated various Yoga asanas followed by ‘omkar’ chanting, the students also performed the asanasa in a synchronized manner and won accolades. Warm up exercises were performed by the students and the importance of these was also explained simultaneously. The tiny tots and other students performed the Asanas with zeal and enthusiasm.
School correspondent Shoba Rani shared the importance and need of practising yoga to stay fit and healthy. She added that the celebration of International Yoga Day was a reminder to incorporate yoga in every day routine to enjoy a happy life and reduce the effects of stress and other physical ailments. Principal Vani and other faculty members Salma, Lavanya explained the importance of performing yoga daily along with their kids to stay healthy mentally and physically fit. PET Imran along with Latha demonstrated various yoga asanas to the nursery kids. The parents learned lots of yoga asanas and enjoyed performing with their kids.
Special attraction of the day was the mothers performing Zumba dance under the guidance of teachers Sravanthi and Rajitha. The students cheered to their mothers dancing to the popular numbers. Teachers Vennela and Malathi were also present entertaining the mothers.
