JAGTIAL, AUGUST 14, 2026: SKNR Government Arts & Science College, Jagtial, organised the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ programme in a grand manner under the joint aegis of the NCC and NSS units of the college on Friday. The programme was organised in connection with Independence Day to inculcate patriotism, national unity, discipline and a sense of responsibility towards the nation among the students.
On the occasion, NCC cadets, NSS volunteers and students enthusiastically participated in the programme, carrying the National Flag and raising patriotic slogans. The students were sensitised about the significance of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign and encouraged to display the National Flag at their homes with pride and respect, thereby expressing their love for the nation.
Addressing the gathering, the faculty members stated that the Indian National Flag is a symbol of the sovereignty, unity, dignity and freedom of the nation. They recalled the sacrifices of the freedom fighters and called upon students to discharge their responsibilities towards the nation and contribute to the development and progress of the country.
The faculty members further stated that NCC plays a significant role in developing patriotism, discipline, leadership qualities, self-confidence and the spirit of national service among students, while NSS helps students develop social responsibility, service-mindedness and awareness of various social issues. They advised the students to become responsible citizens and contribute positively to the progress of the nation.
As part of the programme, students participated in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ pledge, National Flag display and various patriotic activities. The college campus reverberated with patriotic slogans and created an atmosphere of national pride and enthusiasm.

A large number of NCC cadets, NSS volunteers and students participated in the programme with great enthusiasm. The faculty appreciated the NCC and NSS units for successfully organising the programme and inspiring students with the spirit of patriotism, unity and national service.
