Students of Alphores Schools Distribute Clay Ganesh Idols to devotees

KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 06, 2024: Students of the Alphorse educational institutions in various parts of Karimnagar town have distributed clay Ganesh idols to the devotees on the eve of Ganesh Chathurthi celebrations on Friday.

Thanks to the campaign launched by the schools, individuals, NGOs and government organisations to protect the environment from pollution, the demand for clay Ganesha idols has gone up considerably in Karimnagar town. Schoolchildren, the targeted section of the campaign, have become pioneers in discouraging elders from using idols made of Plaster-of-Paris (PoP) and chemicals.

Accordingly, the Alphores educational institutions chairman V Narender Reddy launched the distribution of clay idols free of cost to the devotees in various parts of the town. Similarly, the students also distributed the clay idols to the people and appealed to them to worship only clay idols get blessings from the Lord Ganesha and protect the environment from pollution.

The students of Alphores educational institutions took out a rally in Karimnagar town to create awareness on conserving nature and avoiding water pollution. Earlier, Alphores Educational Institutions chairman V Narender Reddy participated in special prayers of Ganesh Chathurthi celebrations at Alphores e-techno school in Kothapalli on the outskirts of Karimnagar. Amid the chanting of Vedic hymns, the priests performed the special pujas.
