JAGTIAL, SEPTEMBER 25, 2024: As part of the World Tourism day celebrations from September 23 to 27, the students associated with Yuva Tourism Club of Government Degree College for Women (autonomous), Jagtial, had a field a visit to several sites in the district on Wednesday.
The students visited the ancient Jagtial Fort, Poulastheshwara Swami Devasthanam, Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Temple at Dharmapuri, Ramalingeswara Temple, and Satyavathi Temple in the district.
The students enthusiastically engaged in learning activities, taking notes, capturing photos, and participating in discussions. They were able to appreciate the profound historical and spiritual significance of these sites, as well as the importance of preserving our cultural heritage for future generations.
This educational tour not only ignited the students’ interest in history and heritage but also enhanced their appreciation for the diverse cultural fabric of our region. It was a wonderful opportunity for them to understand the values, traditions, and stories that form the foundation of our civilization. College Principal K Ramakrishna, Vice Principal Chandraiah, Yuva Tourism Club Coordinator V Jamuna, Sunitha, Irfana, and others, were also present at the programme.
