KARIMNAGAR, JUNE 26, 2025: I. Akshara, a final-year B.Com (General) student at Telangana Social Welfare Residential Degree College for Women, Karimnagar, has brought laurels to the institution by being selected to represent India in the prestigious South Asian Softball Games 2024–2025, scheduled to take place in Nepal from July 17 to 22, 2025.
Her achievement is the result of her unwavering dedication, consistent hard work, and excellence in the field of sports. The college’s Physical Director, Parveena Begum, played a vital role in guiding and motivating Akshara throughout her journey, providing essential training and encouragement.
This milestone also underscores the institution’s commitment to fostering the comprehensive development of its students. The Principal, T. Malathi, along with the Vice Principal, S. Padmaja, congratulated Akshara on her selection and lauded her efforts. They also acknowledged the dedicated efforts of the sports department in promoting physical education and empowering young women to excel at both national and international levels.
