KARIMNAGAR, MARCH 07, 2024: Women empowerment Cell of SRR Government Arts and Science college, Karimnagar town, celebrated the International Women’s day by felicitating successful women entrepreneurs of Karimnagar town on Thursday.
Successful women entrepreneurs include; Lavender Beauty zone founder Umarani, Shiva Sai Home foods founder Sujatha Reddy and Chintu Hand Prints founder Bhadravathi. On this occasion, the women entrepreneurs shared their success formula through hard work and dedication. They explained how they faced the challenges and utilized the opportunity to excel in their chosen field. They called upon the students to set a goal and strive to achieve by sheer hard work.
WEC coordinator Uma Maheshwari advised the students to learn the entrepreneurship skills from the successful women entrepreneurs of the town. EDC coordinator Satish Kumar informed the girl students to turn into entrepreneurs and provide employment to others.
Vice Principal T Rajaiah said that the women were excelling in all fields and reminded that the President of the country and the district Collector were also women. LIC Development Officer Chakrapani distributed prizes to students who participated in the essay writing competitions organized by LIC Karimnagar on the eve of women’s day 2024.
An exhibition of their products produced by women entrepreneurs was also organised. Faculty members Malla Reddy, Shobha Rani, Praveena, Sharda, Shirisha and other women employees and students participated in this programme.
