SIDDIPET, SEPTEMBER 02, 2026: Kaveri University inaugurated its prestigious Sahavasa Hall – a 1,500-capacity Central Dining Hall – and the Kaveri Champions Arena, marking another significant milestone in the University’s commitment to providing world-class infrastructure for the holistic development of its students.
The facilities were inaugurated by Sadhana Rashmi Perumal, Commissioner of Police, Siddipet District, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest on Wednesday.
The newly established Kaveri Champions Arena offers a wide range of sports facilities developed to high international standards, including Volleyball and Kabaddi Courts, Futsal and Box Cricket Courts, Basketball Court, and Pickleball Court. These facilities are aimed at encouraging students to actively participate in sports while fostering teamwork, discipline, leadership, sportsmanship and physical fitness.

The Sahavasa Hall, with a capacity of 1,500, provides a spacious, modern and well-equipped Central Dining Hall to cater to the dining requirements of the University community. The facility is designed to provide students with a comfortable and vibrant space for dining and social interaction.
Cybersecurity Awareness Programme
Prior to the inauguration, Sadhana Rashmi Perumal interacted with Kaveri University students as part of a Cybersecurity Awareness Programme and sensitised them to the growing risks associated with cybercrime and the responsible use of digital platforms.
Addressing the students, she emphasised the importance of protecting personal information and advised them not to share personal or family details with unknown persons online. She urged students to use strong passwords and change them regularly, exercise caution while sharing information on digital platforms, and avoid attaching sensitive personal information to emails unless absolutely necessary.
She further advised students to immediately approach the nearest police station or appropriate law-enforcement authorities if they encounter cyber fraud, online harassment, suspicious activities or other cybercrimes.
She stressed that cybersecurity awareness, vigilance and responsible digital behaviour are essential to protecting individuals from cyber fraud and other emerging online threats.
Focus on Holistic Student Development
Chancellor Sri G. V. Bhaskar Rao and Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. V. Praveen Rao called upon students to make the best use of the newly inaugurated sports and dining facilities. They stated that Kaveri University is committed to creating an enriching educational environment that promotes academic excellence, physical fitness, discipline, teamwork, leadership, creativity and overall personality development.
They emphasised that sports play a vital role in shaping confident, disciplined and resilient young professionals and encouraged students to actively participate in the various sporting activities available at the University.
