JAGTIAL, MAY 16, 2026: As part of the sixth day of the Education Week celebrations, the Department of Computer Science and Applications, Government Degree College for Women (A), Jagtial, organised an awareness seminar on *“AI Applications and Digital Learning”** on 16 May 2026 (Saturday) on the college campus.
The seminar was conducted to create awareness among students and faculty about the importance of Artificial Intelligence and digital technologies in modern education. The session was delivered by Sri V. Venu, Lecturer in Computer Science, MJPTBCWRDC, Dharmapuri. He explained the significance of Artificial Intelligence (AI), the need for digital learning in education, AI tools useful for students and teachers, smart classrooms, future skills, and various digital learning platforms. He also gave live demonstrations of useful digital educational tools.

The program witnessed active participation from lecturers *G. Chandraiah, Mallikarjun, S. Satyam, K. Ramachandram*, other teaching faculty, non-teaching staff members, and a large number of students of the college. The participants enthusiastically interacted with the resource person and clarified their doubts regarding AI and digital learning.
The Principal and faculty members appreciated the Department of Computer Science and Applications for organizing such an informative and technology-oriented seminar. They stated that such programs play an important role in improving technological awareness and digital skills among students.
