SAP Labs India opens ‘Centre of Excellence in Emerging Technologies’ at JITS

Centre of Excellence is dedicated to train the students to emerging technologies and promoting industry related skills and employability.

KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 30, 2024: To promote skill development and employability among the students, the SAP Labs India under its Code Unnati programme and Edunet foundation under the guidance of TASK has formally inaugurated its Centre of Excellence In Emerging Technologies at Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Sciences (autonomous) in Karimnagar on Friday.

JITS Chairman Juvvadi Sagar Rao along with JITS Secretary J Sumith Sai, Mr Pradeep Reddy, Technology Delivery, Placement and Corporate Relations, TASK, IT, E&C Department, Government of Telangana, Mr Mohammad Afsar Pasha, Program Manager, Edunet Foundation, TASK District relationship manager A Gangaprasad and Cluster Manager Shudheer, JITS Principal Dr KS Rao, Dean (academics) PK Vaishali and others.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Pradeep Reddy said that SAP labs as part of its CSR programme in association with Edunet and TASK had taken up setting up Centre of Excellence at JITS at a cost of Rs 30 lakhs with all infrastructure to provide hands-on training to the students and make them employable. The Code Unnati programme underscores the importance of industry-relevant skills in preparing individuals for the future of work, eventually creating pathways towards employability and future readiness for both faculty and students, he added.

Mr Mohammed Afsar Pasha called upon the students to utilize the opportunity and upgrade their skills required for the IT industry and secure employment with ease along with the completion of their graduation. Gangaprasad said that the Centre of Excellence is dedicated to train the students to emerging technologies and promoting industry related skills and employability.

JITS Chairman J Sagar Rao informed the students to utilize the lab to the optimum as the SAP labs had provided all necessary infrastructure and material to train the students free of cost and make them employable by providing all skills required by the industry.  JITS faculty members N Jegadeesan and others were also present.
