
GODAVARIKHANI, JUNE 02, 2025: Students of Sacred Heart High School, Godavarikhani, have bagged several medals in the National Karate Championship conducted in Hyderabad on Sunday.
The National Karate Championship was held in Hyderabad, Telangana, by Sensei Abdul Baki and Sensei Untam. Students of Sacred Heart High School have won several medals in the Kata category, like in the junior category, S Suraksha (gold medal), M Mahalakshmi (silver medal) and Rishitha and Kruthika (bronze medal)

Interestingly, the school NCC first officer, PD Jyothsna, secured first place and won a gold medal in Kata category. The school management attributed the success of students to the guidance of senior master Shihan K Mondaiah (Black belt 8 Dan). Deputy Grand Master and vice president of All India chief Officers OMAA Sensei K Kranthi Black Belt 3 Dan, Sensei M Amruth Sai, Balck belt 1 Dan, International Gold medalist, National Referee and judge, Sensei E Srinivas were also present.
Sacred Heart School Correspondent Sister Mariga Goreti, Principal Sister Arogya Mary, parents and others congratulated the winners of the martial arts competitions.
