Announces ambitious economic goals, aiming for a $1 trillion economy in 10 years and $3 trillion by 2047

KARIMNAGAR, JUNE 02, 2025: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has expressed his gratitude to AICC leader Sonia Gandhi for fulfilling the long-cherished dream of the Telangana people by carving out a separate Telangana state.
Speaking after hoisting the National Flag as part of Telangana formation day celebrations at Parade grounds in Secunderabad on Monday, the CM said: “We have fought for decades and achieved statehood for Telangana with a demand of emancipation, freedom and equal opportunities. However, the people’s aspirations were not fulfilled during the completion of 10 years of formation of Telangana state. Vexed Telangana people dethroned the dictatorial rule and gave a big mandate to the progressive People’s Government”.
Stating that the People’s Government has been striving to fulfil the aspirations of people from the day it assumed office on December 7, 2023, Mr Reddy said all the official functioning systems were disintegrated and the state economy was completely ruined in the previous dispensation. The people’s government was overburdened with the completely dismantled system and took the responsibility of streamlining every sector. Taking it as a big challenge, the government embarked on the reconstruction of Telangana to fulfil the aspirations of people, he pointed out.
The ruined systems were rectified and put things right one by one. Vice Chancellors have been appointed to the Universities which were neglected by the previous government. Competitive exams to fill jobs in government sectors are being conducted regularly by introducing revolutionary reforms in the Telangana State Public Service Commission. The government constituted the Education Commission, Agriculture Commission and Information Commission, Lokayukta and HRC to ensure that the systems function independently.
The state government already envisaged plans to make one Crore women as Millionaires and introduced the Indira Mahila Shakti scheme for the economic empowerment of the women’s community. Aiming to promote women as entrepreneurs, the government is giving Rs One lakh Crore loans to women in five years. Rs 21,000 crore loan amount has already been disbursed in the first year. Amma Adarsha Committees have been entrusted with the responsibility of the efficient maintenance of government schools.
The State Government decided to issue special cards with a QR code to all women’s self-help groups. All the entire details of the women’s groups will be updated in the special cards. The government’s main objective is to empower women as ” Mahalakshmi ” and be economically strong, he maintained
The State Government accorded top priority to the future of the Youth and hence more than 60,000 jobs are already been filled in just 16 months of coming to power in the state. 10,000 teacher posts were already filled by conducting the DSC exam. The government instilled confidence among the youth by taking recruitment in all sectors like Irrigation, Medical and Health, Singareni, Police, Energy and other departments regularly. A Job Calendar was already announced and filled the vacancies accordingly, he stated.
Stating that the Telangana government had successfully hosted the 72nd Miss World competition in a prestigious manner with a slogan of ” Telangana Zaroor Aana”, the CM said India is bracing for the centenary celebrations of country’s Independence in 2047. The State Government is working in a mission mode to play the Telangana State a pivotal role in developing Telangana State as a 30 trillion US dollar economy. As part of it, Telangana Raising -2047 action plan is already prepared and decided to promote the state as a One Trillion US dollar economy in the next 10 years and a 3 Trillion US dollar economy by 2047.
Telangana Rising is regarded as the main instrument to achieve robust growth. The government envisaged plans to develop Telangana number one developed state in the country as well as in the entire world. I strongly hope that everyone will support the People’s Government in delivering transparent administration and comprehensive development of the state.

Family members of late Gude Anjaiah, late Baladeer Gaddar and Bandi Yadagiri received the awards. On behalf of Goreti Venkanna, who is abroad, his daughter received the award. The prestigious Kaloji award was presented to Nelimela Bhaskar.
