KARIMNAGAR, APRIL 15, 2026: An Orientation Programme on academic research was organised for students at the SRR Government Arts and Science College (Autonomous), Karimnagar, as part of the Praja Palana– Pragathi Pranalika initiative, under the coordination of the Research Committee on Wednesday.
On this occasion, the College Principal, Prof. Kalvakunta Ramakrishna, stated that research plays a vital role in the development of science and technology, besides the business and commerce sectors.
The Resource Person, Ananthula Satish Kumar, Associate Professor of Commerce from Government Degree College, Peddapalli, emphasised the importance of developing a research bent among students. He elaborated in detail on various aspects such as selection of research topics, research design, data collection, analysis, and preparation of project reports.

The College Vice Principal, T. Rajaiah, highlighted that students should cultivate an interest in research from the degree level itself and contribute to innovation and development. M. Malla Reddy, Coordinator of the College Research Committee, mentioned that the program was conducted to provide students with basic knowledge of research methodologies and to encourage them towards research activities.
