HYDERABAD, SEPTEMBER 02, 2024: Abhiram and Sree Lasya, the students of Sister Nivedita School, Ameerpet, Hyderabad, who topped the Class X Board examinations were honoured in a grand ceremony organised by the Recognised School Managements Association in Hyderabad recently.
Former Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, DEO Rohini, DSP (cybercrime, Hyderabad) NB Ratnam, TRSMA Hyderabad president K Umamaheshwara Rao and others were also present. On this occasion, the DEO commended the toppers for their hard work and dedication.
When students were asked how they had achieved this success, they answered that it was the result of their perseverance, the guidance of their dedicated teachers, and the unwavering support of their parents.
This year, the Sister Nivedita School produced an impressive result, with cent per cent result, more than 75% of the students passing in distinction and 60 per cent passed in the First division. Among them, two students stood out, scoring 98 per cent in the overall results. The top scorers Abhiram and Sree Lasya who secured 98% were commended by everyone.
Dr. Sudhakar Rao Polsani, Chairman of Sister Nivedita Foundation, sent his greetings to the toppers and wished them success in all their future endeavours. Correspondent Rtn. M. Harihara Prasad was overwhelmed by the grit and determination shown by the toppers in securing a high percentage. Principal, Dr Lalitha Kumari Thota congratulated the students on bringing laurels to the institution and also motivated them to continue to shine in future.
Sree Lasya said, “I’m grateful for all the support. It’s been a challenging journey, but with determination and hard work, I was able to achieve my goal,” she said with a smile. The toppers’ parents were invited on the stage to share their experiences, where they expressed pride and joy over their children’s accomplishments. “Watching our children succeed is a moment of immense happiness,” said Sree Lasya’s father and Abhiram’s mother. “It’s a testament to their hard work and the nurturing environment provided by the school.”
