KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 20, 2024: With the MLC elections from the Karimnagar Graduate Constituency are scheduled tentatively scheduled in February 2025, the fight for securing party ticket had already begun in the Bharath Rashtra Samithi (formerly TRS).
Among several BRS ticket aspirants including former Mayor S Ravinder Singh, TRSMA leader Y Shekhar Rao and former IMA president Dr BN Rao, Chairman Rousseau Group of institutions Periyala Devender Rao, who is also Koheda PACS chairman, is in the race for securing the party ticket and contest from Karimnagar Graduates MLC elections comprising of Karimnagar, Medak, Nizamabad and Adilabad districts.
An LLM student from Osmania University, Mr Devender Rao is presently running several educational institutions including Law college, B Ed college and others in Karimnagar district. He also worked as Agricultural market committee (AMC) chairman in Koheda mandal. He is associated with the BRS since its inception.
