KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 29, 2024: Minister for Transport and BC Welfare Ponnam Prabhakar has said that the government would take action against all illegal constructions taken up in FTLs of tanks and on nalas across the Telangana state.
He said that the agencies on the lines of HYDRAA would be set up in all the districts during an interaction with the media persons after participating in the National Sports Day celebrations at the Regional Sports School in Karimnagar town on Thursday.
Assuring all assistance for providing necessary infrastructure in the Sports school, the Minister said that they would fill all vacant posts and coaches would be recruited very soon. He also promised Rs 25 lakhs for the sports school on behalf of the state government. He also directed the officials to take measures for the construction of a swimming pool in the Sports School.
The Minister distributed tracksuite and sports shoes to the inmates of the sports school. The students presented the yoga, karate and gymnastics skills during the visit of Minister. Collector Pamela Satpathy, Additional Collector Praful Desai, Municipal Commissioner Chahat Bajpai, RDO Maheshwar, DYSO Srinivas Goud, sports school principal Leela Prasad and others were also present.
