
Government Whip Adi Srinivas inaugurates the camp

RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, SEPTEMBER 13, 2024: The Rajanna-Sircilla district police in association with the District Medical and Health department, Aswini Hospital and Renee Hospital conducted a mega health camp in the interior Manala village of Rudrangi Mandal on Friday.
Government Whip and Vemulawada legislator Adi Srinivas formally inaugurated the medical camp and underwent health check-ups. The doctors had treated more than 800 people and provided medicines free of cost. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Srinivas appreciated the noble service of the police department to provide health to the people along with maintenance of law and order.
He promised to set up a government hospital in Manala village to provide medical services at the doorstep of the villagers. He also announced to conduct of medical camps in every village in the district for the benefit of villagers.
State Union cooperative chairman Manala Mohan Reddy lauded the district police initiatives for conducting a medical camp for the benefit of interior and remote villages. Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha said that they would launch a special campaign against the anaemia in the district as the majority of the people were suffering from anaemia in the district.
SP Akhil Mahajan said that they had organised the medical camp as part of community policing. Appealing to the people to discourage ganja and drugs in the villages, he also informed the parents to keep surveillance on the behaviour of their children. If the children had been addicted to drugs and ganja, he directed them to send their wards to the de-addiction centre in Sircilla. DMHO Dr M Vasanth Rao, ASP Seshadri Reddy, Vemulawada Area Hospital Superintendent Penchalaiah, inspectors Venkateshwarlu and Srinivas, SIs and others were also present.
