NEW DELHI, JULY 03, 2025: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday was conferred with ‘The Officer of the Order of the Star of Ghana’ by the President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, in recognition of his distinguished statesmanship and influential global leadership.
Accepting the award on behalf of 1.4 billion Indians, the Prime Minister dedicated the honour to the aspirations of India’s youth, its cultural traditions and diversity, and also to the historical ties between Ghana and India. Mr Modi also thanked the people and the government of Ghana for this special gesture.
