Paramita student selected to participate in INSPIRE award MANAK National Science exhibition

KARIMNAGAR, JUNE 25, 2024: Shubhashree Sahu, a class 10 student of Paramita Heritage (CBSE) School, Karimnagar town, has been selected to participate at the INSPIRE Award Manak National Science Exhibition to be held at New Delhi.

The Inspire Award Manak National Science Exhibition is being conducted by the Department of Science and Technology, Govt.of India in collaboration with the National Innovation Foundation (NIF) an autonomous body under Ministry of Science and Technology.

It may mentioned that Shubhashree is the only student from the entire Karimnagar district selected to participate in the prestigious National exhibition. The winners of the National exhibition will receive National award and will be honoured by the Ministry of Education. The top winners also will get an opportunity to participate in the Festival of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (FINE) at Rashtrapati Bhavan, and will also be invited to visit to Japan under Sakura exchange programme.

Shubhashree under her guide Mr Lalit Mohan Sahu has first presented her innovative project ‘Multi-Functional Eco-Friendly Agro Machine’ at district level Inspire Award Manak science exhibition from which she has been selected to the state level. In the state level science exhibition a total of 260 students from entire Telangana state have participated.

Out of total 260,only 26 projects from the entire Telangana state including Subhashree’s sole project from entire Karimnagar district have been selected to participate in the National level Inspire Award exhibition. The event was conducted by SCERT Telangana, collaboration with the National Innovation Foundation in the month of June Shubhashree has made an effort to address some of the main issues of the farmers by developing an eco-friendly, multifunctional, low cost and portable agricultural machine. This designed machine can function efficiently with four separate operations of threshing and grain separating, straw cutting used as fodder, winnowing and bag stitching in a single process.

The designed model can be operated through solar power thereby eliminating the factors like use of electricity, unit functionality and huge expenditure. The child’s s innovation was appreciated by many for its social utility. Shubhashree has received many great achievements in her name for her innovation. She has been conferred with Young Achiever Award-2023 from then Governor of Telangana Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan for her contribution to scientific innovation.

She is the winner of VIVo -Ignite award 2023 and OLL-Skill Titan 2023. Subhashree has received Spark Innovation award from Kvrss Society for the academic year 2023.She has also been invited to participate in CBSE National skill expo at New Delhi. Other than these she has She has also been honoured as the winner of CBSE National science exhibition 2023 and also invited to participate in National Rashtriya Bal Vaigyanik Pradarshani(R.B.V.P) organized by National Council Of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) 2023 at Pune.

On this occasion District educational officer Ch Janardhan Rao, District science officer Jaipal Reddy congratulated Shubhashree for her achievement and wished her best for the National level competition. On the other hand E. Prasad Rao, the Chairman of Paramita Group of Schools also expressed his happiness on the selection of Shubhashree for the National level.
