PEDDAPALLI, SEPTEMBER 06, 2024: The Primary Sections of Pallavi Model School, Rangampalli, Peddapalli town, celebrated the auspicious festival of Ganesh Chaturthi with gaiety and religious fervour on Friday.
It is believed that Lord Ganesha, the symbol of wisdom, bestows his blessings on Earth during this festival and removes every obstacle. The purpose of the celebration was to let students stay rooted in Indian culture.
School Correspondent Shoba Rani, Principal N Vani, teachers Salma, Rajitha, Sowmya, Lavanya, Latha, Lavanya, Computer Operator Vennela, PET Imraan and others participated in the celebrations. They educated the students on worshipping clay idols to protect the environment from pollution.
Various interesting activities were also conducted for the students on this occasion. The students of the Nursery participated in a group activity to colour the picture of Lord Ganesha. The school teachers also enlightened the students about the importance of celebrating Ganesh Chathurthi and how Lord Ganesha secured the elephant’s face.
Correspondent Shoba Rani said the true essence of Ganesh Chaturthi lies in the fact that the devotees worship Ganesha to rid their lives of all sins and substitute them with knowledge and wisdom. She conveyed her Ganesh Chathurthi greetings to the students, parents and teaching and non-teaching faculty members.
