RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, SEPTEMBER 25, 2024: The Government Degree College, Gambhiraopet, Rajanna-Sircilla district, conducted an orientation programme for the newly admitted students on Wednesday.
The objective of this programme was to introduce the students to the academic traditions, ethos and academic culture of the culture as well as to its various departments and facilities.
The programme was formally launched by Principal V Vijaya Lakshmi. Speaking on the occasion, she said that such programmes provide essential information to help new students integrate into college life. She educated the students about the semester system, the Choice Based Credit System, the internal assessment examination, university examinations and the facilities available in the college. She informed the students to attend to classes regularly and attendance was mandatory.
The students were also enlightened about the Examination branch, IQAC, NSS, Women empowerment cell, TSKC, and scholarships to the students by the respective coordinators Prabhakar, Y Anjaneyulu, Paka Dharmapuri, V Vani, J Sravan Kumar and Adi Vishni. Other faculty members KV Bixmaiah, Srinivas, Manohar, Sucharan Krishna Prasad, Bhargavi, Deepika, Mahesh, Ramulu, Jagannatham and others were also present.
