PEDDAPALLI, MARCH 14, 2024: District Educational Officer D Madhavi has ordered deduction of one day’s salary for 10 teachers for their late attendance to various schools in the Peddapalli district.
Following complaints about the late arrival of teachers to their schools, the DEO along with some other officials including MEOs and Sarva Siksha Abhiyaan (SSA) and others made a surprise check of various schools on Thursday and inspected the attendance register at difference government schools in Odela, Pothkapalli and other villages.
The DEO visited CPS Pothkapalli, ZPHS Pothkapalli, ZPHS Odela, MPPS SC colony, Odela, MPPS Tarakarama colony, MPUPS Goparapalli and MPPS Railway station, Kolanur. She has inspected the attendance registers and marked the late comers as absent and instructed the concerned MEOs to deduct one-day salary.
The DEO expressed her ire against the government teachers for not reporting for duty on time. She was found that some of the teachers did not turn up to the school till 11 am.
