RAIPUR, OCTOBER 09, 2026: NTPC Nava Raipur, in association with the Reserve Bank of India, has organised an Awareness Session on “Digital Banking, Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs) and Cyber Frauds” as part of National Cyber Security Awareness Month.
Held at NTPC Nava Raipur office on Friday (October 09, 2026), the programme was conducted by RBI resource persons Mr Amarendra Gupta, DGM, on the Role of RBI and Evolution of Digital Banking in India; Mr Debabrat Sarkar, Manager, on NBFCs and Cyber Fraud and its Prevention; and Mr Sameer Dhanwar, Assistant on Quiz.
Earlier, Chief Guest of the occasion Mr S Madhu, Chief General Manager (Ash Management), NTPC welcomed Mr Amarendra Gupta and his team from RBI wherein employees participated in large numbers. Every year, October is celebrated as National Cyber Security Awareness Month to secure People, information, and operations for a sustainable tomorrow.
