HYDERABAD, SEPTEMBER 24, 2026: The NSS unit of Government Degree College, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad, celebrated the 57th NSS Day by organising an orientation programme on the theme of “Service, Sacrifice, Society, Future”, on Thursday.
The College Principal, M Himabindu, said that the programme was aimed at motivating students to participate in social service and community development activities through the National Service Scheme (NSS). She explained the significance of NSS and its motto, “Not Me But You,” and highlighted the important role of NSS volunteers in developing social responsibility, leadership, discipline, environmental awareness, and a spirit of selfless service among youth.
NSS Programme Officer S. D. Bhavani, S. Ravinder Reddy, and other faculty members participated in the programme and motivated the volunteers. Students also shared their views on social service, environmental protection, cleanliness, and community development.
